I think the only way we will get him is if we offer cash. Either a transfer or a loan with obligation to buy in the summer. Villa wouldn’t want to loan a player to us which could strengthen us.
It’s the same for us with West Ham and Southampton offering to loan Keane, we are only interested in a transfer because we need that fee.
We may still end up getting him, I just don’t think he’s right for how Frank plays.
So……. Pickford ….. how much do we want for him ?

I have no real idea how Ings would do for us , but it seems typical of this club that the only real creditable transfer link is a 30 year old premier league striker who can’t get into a mid table side , has missed nearly 2 years with serious knee injuries and has had a number of periods out with hamstring issues .
A loan would probably have made sense but to buy him , without at least him or us first having to achieve certain contractual obligations would seem to sum up the last few years .

Given how much relegation would cost us , the fact that three factors kept us up Richarlison, Pickford and the fans im Not sure you’re too far off ! Seriously though We’ve replaced one with McNeill , doing our best to isolate the other so just Pickford left for the treble .
