I'll read this on the bog when I get in.On the Danjuma links, a very interesting player but personally fails on a few key fronts for us specifically. If a loan is planned to be made permanent.
His forward line versatility and output in relation to goals last year are engaging. Especially when you factor its in a top league and in Europe. He is a player that might be beginning an ascent as he enters his prime. In three years he may be worth double the fee.
That said there are a lot of variables to suggests that the needle hole is very thin in relation to that outcome. At 25 its also possible that his growth plate is close to its ceiling. Factor that in relation to the initial Villarreal move, in turn a sizable deal, and the margins for potential sell on or massive improvement may be slim. Thats a lot of caveats for a club that cant really afford any at the moment.
A loan is one thing, maybe even wise if without stipulations. More broadly though, if funds are limited I may question any bid eventually north of 30 million which is what i'd expect for Danjuma. We need steer away from such high outlays, especially this window. Sure there may be more money in subsequent deals but as evident in our current team outlays add up in the aggregate, and limit future windows.
Currently the two Lorient forwards I think are more attractive propositions at our development stage and have a lot more going for them longterm. In price, age and considerable quality/upside in their own right.
Ffs sign him what are you waiting for Walsh?
From his sick bed - absolute trooper ain’t he….It's 2023 and Bill Kenwright is still involved in transfers

Do you not watch the Nemzeti Bajnoksag 2 league? You will be in the minority mate. Quality league.Has anyone watched much of this Danjuma cat?
I haven’t seen any in depth analysis of him yet, which is strange considering he plays for Villarreal.
If he played for some second division Hungarian team the usuals would be climbing over themselves to tell us they’ve been watching him for years.
He certainly isn't crap. He's proven his quality in a proper top league and in the Champions League this season. Guys mentioned like Outtara or Moffi might have potential but for someone to perform and score goals here and now he is the best player we've been linked with. Villareal have an abundance of attackers and some money issues so it makes sense for them to look to get someone gone, and if it's loan with option it eliminates a lot of risk.Must be crap if they are egging us on. Predict an endless thread similar to Tom's debating how bad he is.
Danjuma and Davies. A couple of divisions apart.Must be crap if they are egging us on. Predict an endless thread similar to Tom's debating how bad he is.
I humbly bow to both of your superior informed and intelligent assessments. I have had my head below the parapet for far too long.Danjuma and Davies. A couple of divisions apart.
I watched his goals last night and I'm honestly surprised how often his shots went in.Has anyone watched much of this Danjuma cat?

If they were a chick you’d take your condomsYeah, that’s as close to a come and get him plea as you’ll hear. So go and get him.
But you need players to create chances and ultimately he's one of the few we have who do.He doesn’t score enough to justify him playing as one of a front two
The bloke who sold a once in a generational talent for £10m upfront is still involved in our transfers and we wonder how we’ve wasted north of £500m to get ourselves into the bottom 3.It's 2023 and Bill Kenwright is still involved in transfers
