Honestly you have to give credit to the clubs around us, all moving to make signings up front. Rock bottom for us, won’t even be close. Hope the board can’t sleep at night (though you know they do blissfully)

We are still dependant on a centre foward who had a 5 month purple patch under Carlo Ancelotti. I think since Ancelotti left he's netted 6 times. Injuries yes. But that counts for nothing when the trap door is opening up beneath you.
pure gross mismanagement by all for nearly 2 years to get a forward line.

Isnt the profit and sustainability rule that we can lose a maximum of £105M per year on a 3 year rolling system (so £315M over 3 years)?

Seeing as we have spent bugger all for 3 years without selling first (or in the summer with Richy) how is it we still cant spend? We cant still be negative £315M for the 18 months pre Benitez surely!

That’s what i mean no ones got a clue what’s goin on would have been easier if we did have a confirmed transfer ban least then we’d know where we stood

Personally I did believe there was something in this though, would have been a good signing too.

Maybe I should just get into Italian football. Serie A been mental the last couple seasons and Napoli are looking like a proper football team. Plus my great grandmother was from Naples....
