January Transfer Window 2023

The other thing to remember is that if we get 2/3 in - which I think we will by 31st January - it gives the existing squad players a boost.

They've been under the cosh and a lot of it is down to the summer's unforgivable recruitment and failure to get effective attackers in.
In fairness we went for Mudryk (although the €30m offer was probably nowhere near enough even then) and it seems like we would have got Kudus had Antony not gone to United. It was a failure and the end results were not great but we did try for players that we all would have been incredibly excited to have. Sadly we ended up with McNeil and Maupay but they are probably on deals that barely make a difference when it comes to P&S rules

They need a massive boost that is for sure.

My take on it, though my opinion its worth little

Saturday is a tough game, grab what we can from that. Arsenal and the rs I've written off

Leeds home (16 games to go) that's where I think our chances lie.

Leeds and Villa at home and Forest away.

A run from that 3 could pull others in and claw back some places.
Maybe 2 out of 3 wins there :drunk:
