Football is fickle. This time next year DCL might have moved and be banging them in somewhere else and we will all be lamenting his loss.

So many different factors contribute to a players success and form. Injuries, personal life, whether they are at a club that’s set up for them to be the best they can. Right now you’d say it takes a special player to be thriving in this everton setup.

When were we interested in Wilson? I think time has proven those people very very wrong, I imagine it was during DCL’s purple patch season. However that was nearly 3 years ago so it’s not really a relevant discussion to right now, where Wilson is one of the best strikers in the league and DCL is… not.

Not a chance we’re getting those fees mate. Maybe £30m for Dom and £20m for Gordon if we’re lucky. Dom has the injury excuse and the “if he can stay fit” caveat that will get us decent money for him, but Gordon has put beyond doubt his utter crapness by this point. They’ll be taking a flyer on potential alone, and that’s not getting us the kind of money that was being talked about in the summer.

Kudus is never, ever, ever coming here. Destined for bigger things.
