It is such a big jump but the gap in standard should close as more teams become full time.Yeah it's always difficult to judge a player stepping up from Irish league level. The only player I saw play in the league who I knew would have no issues was Dallas at Leeds because he was on another level. But I've watched Moore play a couple of times, and he definitely stands out for this level, especially in adult football in a very physical league.
A second signingOr did @Tofeenut mean the 2nd part of medical for Danjuma?!
Or a 2nd signing?!
Hoping for the latter
I didn't say he wasn't good enough, i said he didn't go any higher. I know Joe. We are from the same area and he was in the year (or 2) below me in school. You could tell how good he was at a young age.

May i ask, are you being vague about the 2nd signing because it's a backup keeper and not very exciting or... Is it going to be another attacking player? Not one but two by Monday
I meant (or rather @Tofeenut meant) for medicals. Or so I assume...I'll be stunned if one in by Monday
We couldnt negotiate the sale of a bucket of water to a burning man.Getting players cheap because a team is relegated is a myth. We have paid top dollars in the past for relegated players. Parachute payments help massively the relegated club to be tough in negotiations as well as ironically more interest from other teams

Not at all mate. Everyone from here wanted him to make it and do well. I remember him getting MOTM in pre season i think against Spurs and did well in another pre season game against another premiership team.Being homesick was an issue mate and the injury was a catalyst for that.I know but you were kind of implying he wasn't able to play at a higher level. 5 games before serious injury, then being loaned was really bad luck for him. He never really had enough of a chance to show if he was or wasn't good enough. I agree it's a big jump up in level for any young player who's not used to playing against that quality of player. Very hard for any scouts to decide on players like that. Doesn't help that many clubs\managers are so risk adverse, even if the players are relatively cheap as it's often about protecting their reputations.
