Why would comparing them matter? All clubs buy some good players, all clubs buy some bad players.
Nono Nymzee. The difference is the cost and the player’s wages which make impact on ffp.

I have used this example again. Let’s assume Mitoma is as crap as McNeil. One costed €2.5m the other £20m. No wonder we have struggled with ffp issue because since Walsh was here, we were brainless when buying overpriced average/gash players for unreal amount, (most of the time). Money have been spent but we go backwards. 7th place trophy has long gone.

As you say, it is the ratio of good to average players versus dross, combined with the cost. We’ve over spent and struggled to move players on.

If Mitoma turns out to be a flash in the pan, they won’t struggle to find suitors at the same price or, at worst, the loss they may will be minimal.

We over pay and then struggle to offload because of the cost and wages offered.

Bet we only get like £8-10m in reality (based on Ings 31 costed £12m) for Keane should we sell him to Italy on perm. We signed him for £25m.
