If we dont get two strikers in then we'll go down.

Simple as that really.

If that happens, my belief will be that those in charge of the the club are looking at preparing for the Championship, and they've been looking at the regularity of clubs like Watford and Burnley coming straight back up and think that will happen here. It wont.
Preparing for the championship and potentially lose 200mil. ? have a word with yourself

They'd prefer not to see that happen but, effectively, not buying strikers in January will put us there. And the fall back position will be that - if it does happen - we'll get straight back up.

This World Cup has been great for us to stop and regroup those players who have been injured like DCL and Patterson who will be first choice.

Add into the frame players like Tom Cannon and Isaac Price who will be boosts in terms of the energy, fight and desire we have missed from some bit-part players.

I think we need a forward and winger option and links to Matheus Cunha are a good sign because he is a young player who has stepped up to a big club perhaps a bit too early for him.

I am a big fan of Sarr at Watford but we are looking at huge money laid out so I would be a bit weary of that deal because I think he has a bit of a strange temperament and I'd look at João Pedro over Sarr who was linked also last summer.

If we still have concerns over DCL, we need to find a like for like option so Coventry's Gyokeres who has looked very impressive the last 2 seasons and would be a lower price than Sarr or Pedro.

Hopefully we move fast in January because the summer window was slow to start and cost us dearly against our first 5 games which is ultimately points lost.

We need to bring in creative players more than we need to sign a striker.

A striker will not score unless we create chances and we are not doing that at present.

I agree we aren't making enough chances. But we need both that's the worry. We need a play maker and a winger and a striker. Maybe two loans and a small purchase?
I think loans are likely.
The last thing we need is to sign more players that are just not good enough.

There are players who will be heading into the last twelve months of their contract in the summer and will be able to sign pre contract agreements in twelve months so they may be available now at relatively affordable prices.

If we had a decent scouting system, wed be fine.
The minute a Premier League side comes knocking , x5 value gors up.
Sarr, £20million max.
But look what wen paid for Maupey.

We found Rooney ,RS Rushy,Fowler, Owen.Would appear we aint good enough in un covering talant.

Over coaching, analysis.Rushy had one season in reserves from Chester, bang.
We had the best footballer, striker in Britain, one of in world.

Why aint we finding it regularly.
