So you want us to go 442 with a big new target man? We may as well sack frank and get dyche in. And when his 1980’s football can’t get higher than 14 we will sack him and start again and maybe get another who wants to play football, so it will be another 2yr rebuild.

I get we’re in a hole and need to mix up our play to get out of it, but long term you get top half and hopefully challenging for the European places, by playing football and trying to keep possession more than 30% most weeks. This comes down to Thelwell, he has to build a young exciting side and if frank can’t take it forward then the new manager has to have the same philosophy, you can’t keep chopping and changing managers and styles and expect to compete, even Chelsea are now starting to struggle even with a billion pond said and spending 200mil every summer
