Probably that Felipe from Atletico Madrid, with reports of Keane going to Italy it makes the most sense, he'd be a very easy deal to get over the line regardless.
Does seem very possible given he's been mentioned a few times, and Wolves presumably are no longer interested. I'm not sure really why we'd bother replacing our 6th choice CB at all, unless we believe Mina or Holgate are following Keane out the door.

I don't think it's possible for us to have accounted for that money already. If the agreement has been activated which it has then they may well have already paid us but in terms of FFP and all that it will only count once he's actually sold as it will go based on amortisation and all that considering he's technically our player until July 1st or whenever the deal is set to complete.
You sure they can't recognise revenue at present value on the date the objectives were met (if they indeed have been met?)

Why wouldn’t it have been made permanent last year then?

I'd imagine its because its a two year loan deal and it suits all parties for the clauses to activate at the end of the contract.

If there was a clause that states a team is obligated to buy a player after 20 apperences and they make that many apperences before the end of the season. They don't automatically sign that player on the day he make the 20th apperences.

They sign him at the end of the loan.

If Juve paid us yes.

But what happens if Juve go bust in the next 4 months? Which is very unlikely I know, but still.
Think we can recognise it on financial statements if contract is in place to receive the money at an agreed date in future, just needs to be discounted to present value at date of entry.
We couldn't do that if there was a highly probable risk of non-payment at time of recognition.
If that was last summer there wouldn't have been a case to say Juve wouldn't be able to pay.
Either way, I wouldn't be relying on it til it hits the bank.
