Him getting 20+ plus games between now and the end of the season is exactly is what he needs. Let's say we qualify for the Europa, would you loan him out again next season or bring him back and use him in that?
Keep him for first half of the season with European groups matches and if we don’t make it to knock out stages then another 6 month loan.

No these full season loans never work out. Holgate, Barkley, Osman, Coleman only went out for a half a season at most and it was enough. As posters above said of we get Europe this will create game time next season. If we get knocked out early then maybe loan out 2nd half season although I would still be inclined to keep.

Well I mean you can't say they 'never' work out.

If we get Europe that's all well and good.

But if we don't get Europe, I'm not sure we'll be selling one of our current CBs to make room for Branthwaite.

He's 18, got plenty of time.

i think so too cos Holgate-Godfrey already there ahead of him - 4 CBs and if we don't sign a RB he might be needed as a 4th CB

Oh please, if your trying to be a WUM who’s ignorant about our players because he hasn’t seen them try at least to be amusing.
You have really upset me now. I thought I was very amusing and indeed witty. I must re-examine my approach to these weighty matters, and try to be serious about such intelligent discussions started by knowledgeable people. However there is treatment available if you suffer from some sort of humourless affliction. The times are very trying though, I admit.
