Jarrad Branthwaite

I mentioned earlier in the thread that PSV made an offer which would have broken their transfer record.

We know that when they invest in players, typically their values increase substantially.

Ideally the club ties him down for 5+ years along with Pickford + Coady so he has experience behind and next to him with the above and Tarkowski.

Patterson and Branthwaite should be 50% of the future defence we build.

Swerve Coady.

If he was a PSV player i wonder how much his value would be. Madueke went for £30mil+ and Branthwaite imo is more highly rated.

Were really dying to have a long term settled spine in our team.

The next 5 years could be Pickford -- Tarkowski/Branthwaite -- Onana/Garner.

Bring in centre forward options and extend Pickford and Branthwaites contracts.

Start to look like a different beast.

If we think Branthwaite has a chance, got to be starting him next season (whichever division we're in).

He'll come back here and go absolutely turd, turn into a shadow of the player he was at PSV...we'll then sell him for a pittance,he'll then go on to become a world class player somewhere else and eventually be sold to one of the biggest clubs in Europe...

Oldest story ever told.

We have a different manager now so might not be the same old story.

It could be presumed he'll want some assurances of regular enough starts because there will be offers
Given his and our current form , you’d expect him to be a regular first teamer next season , and if he can’t make our first team he’s unlikely to make it in any other PL team . I would like to say “ even we can’t muck this up “ but then again , this is Everton we can shoite anything up.
