2024/25 Jarrad Branthwaite

That's a different point though. I'm not saying I agree with decision or the selection overall, just that I don't think it's a huge surprise because he hasn't been outstanding this year in the way that he was last year. I do think we overrate him slightly myself; he's excellent don't get me wrong, but I don't think he's generally regarded as being levels above some of his contemporaries the way that some people suggest he is.

I kind of think he is, but he's been inconsistent this season. It's odd he isn't in the squad, but at the same time it's not the huge deal people are making out.

It probably makes it more likely he signs down a long term deal here, which is a positive.

I'm not even sure of that, Connor Gallagher doing well at Atletico overlooked, none of the 3rd placed Forest players picked, Tuchel is just a German Southgate
Mgw from forest is a strange one too not to be included. But bearing in mind they are likely to play champions league football next season would be interesting to see if he continues to overlook the forest players, same as he is doing with gallagher

I expected better from Tuchel than Quansah over Branthwaite tbf

Quansah has not only been a bit part player he's also fallen to bits a few times when he has played.
Very strange decision unless he was thinking cover at RB but I would expect Tuchel to play 3 atb with attacking WBs

Tuchel has a right to go with players higher up the table and with more experience.

If they can't see off Albania and Latvia..

Not a lot of outstanding players in that squad - Bellingham aside. Good rather than great.
