Needs to work on his heading big time. Loses way too many duals for a player his height, I think Jota actually won a header against him second half. Also his heading accuracy is poor too, he nearly put one in his own net second half and often his header passes don't go to the intended player. He's much taller than Tarkowski, yet Tarkowski wins far more headers, that shouldn't be the case.

Something no one has pointed out in yesterday's match the recovery that Branthwaite did in the 1st half when he had no right to get there, amazing defending he came right across the pitch to cover for Obrien and Tarkowski

Hadn’t really noticed that but he’s won under half the amount of Ariel duels compared to Tarkowski.

I don't say this too often, but, he is a very special player, the only one of the current crop who would have been good enough to be a regular in the great Everton teams I've seen.

Also when Moyes has been asked about him the first thing he said was "whoever comes better have a big bag a money" and secondly he said "he got a 2 years deal,Everton hold all the cards".

Those comment aren't "he's going nowhere" which reading between the lines suggests conversations may have been had.

This is it mate...We've been down this road many times before.

As long as the deal is right for us then he can leave.

It will be another transfer great for the books and we can plough it back into the team.

I don't say this too often, but, he is a very special player, the only one of the current crop who would have been good enough to be a regular in the great Everton teams I've seen.

He could be , he has wonderful potential but not based on what he has actually shown to date.

He still has massive room for improvement ( as a player of his age should ) and Id like to see him become fat more dominant in the air and improve his positional sense.

All pretty academic because I'd be very surprised if he is still with us next season.
