I thought he was a decent player at Mainz. Not making myself out to be a Bundesliga hipster but I was glad we signed him and thought he would be a bargain.

Well by virtue of the fact he seems to be able to manage 2 games per calendar year, I’d say he’s probably not up to meeting Ancelotti’s needs.

That's probably the only half positive things to take from the situation. Imagine if he'd played 15 games and looked a world beater. Then we would be sick.

I get that and agree, however what I’m saying is it’s not hard to improve upon someone who is too injured to play.
