The problem we’ll have is that the longer he is out, the better he becomes.

As fans, we have a habit of overestimating players and I get the feeling that over the next few months, JPG will be built up so much that he’ll face even greater pressure and scrutiny when he returns.

That will intensify even more if Gomes and Schneiderlin continue their poor form.

Shouldn't be losing important players like this for up to 3 months just via training. We have a bit of a history of it and you really have to question Everton's training methods especially considering that a few players still dont even look fit enough to last a full match.
That's just stupid, the guy was always going to be at a higher risk of injury after barley having a break all summer and getting rushed into the team due to circumstances

Only everton could get a 8-12 weeker in training.

Another victim added to our training injury list must be intense training considering our lads look goosed on the pitch after 60 minutes every game
I honestly see a discussion on an injury and how it will effect us whilst he is out. What I do not see is people acting like it doesn't happen to other clubs and we are exclusive to injuries. Drop your Queenie handbag as you won't find a drama here.

That took me 5 seconds to find before I got bored and decided to rearrange my handbag.

how much we will miss him depends on which Schneiderlin we will see in the coming months:
The one against Palace looked hungry, sharp, good passing.
The one against Villa was the one i want out of this club ASAP.

Lol.

Even if he`s out for 3 months you`ll see him back well before Christmas.

Stop being such a drama Queen, there`s plenty of others on here to fill that roll ;)
Mate it's his first season in the Prem - it was going to take him months before he got injured anyway. Delays his development significantly this.

The most disappointing aspect of this for me is three months is a significant period time to be missing adjusting to this league, he clearly was on a crash course getting to grips with the pace and intensity, three months is a big chunk of that adjustment time.
