How the hell they have that whooper commentating on a RS game is beyond me . Now I am not biased against Liverpool when they play anyone else . If they win fair and square I personally dont give a fcuk . But when Torres went through for the RS first goal you didnt even have to know anything about football period to know that it was a foul on the Madrid defender . But as always with ex RS players ( See David Johnson on BBC Merseyside ) they just cannot help themselves . I am sure I heard alittle squeal of delight from that cretin aswell .

Even Clive " I dont support Man Utd honest me " Tyldsley hints wouldnt budge him . Fcuk off Beglin .

Torres diving around as always . How I wish Jags would have snapped his leg clean in two .

As I say I am not in the least bit bitter

I hate this guy. From time to time he says "we" and Not Liverpool (spit)
He is possibly the most biased commentator there is.

Phil Wankster Thomson is also creaming right now on Sky sports. Analfield is where the magic happens apparently

I think ITV are very biased when it comes to the RS and the mancs. But what can you do? Whilst there is Torres and Gerrard there is 'Gerrard to the rescue again' or 'Torres shows his class' or 'these magical European nights at Anfield'.

Forget the fact Jags made Torres look like an average striker when he had him in his pocket in the FA Cup replay or forget the fact that the Anfield atmosphere was terrible in both games against us.

Anyway, let them be biased, we're goin to Wembley! :D

It was a dive from Pepe, are you HONESTLY trying to say that a little touch like that would genuinly knock a huge guy like him over? Besides, Beglin is always fairly kind to you lot in comentaries anyway so give the guy a break.

I agree its no foul and the penalty was a penalty. Regardless R.Madrid were anihilated tonight. Feel sick saying this but looking at it from a neutral perspective, some of the rs's football was really entertaining, especially the 3rd goal

Beglin is so biased towards Everton mate. It is more noticable when you hear a co-commentator that has played for their nearest rivals. Every Liverpool fan remembers Andy Gray saying "game well and truly over" when AC Milan went 3-0 up in the CL Final. Last year in several UEFA Cup games we played, Beglin could'nt wait for us to concede and failed each and every game having to mention Liverpool. He was so predictable it was unreal. At least when Ratcliffe co-commentated on channel 5, he was being more neutral and not praising Everton just for the sake of it.

'We'?

No, a ****house tackle more like.

I can only presume you mean the Gary Stevens tackle on Beglin mate. I remember that foggy night well and Stevens went for the ball, ok he did'nt get it but it was not like tackles you see these days, ie Gerrard on Naysmith, Kuyt on Neville and Nolan on Anichebe to name a few involved on our players. I am sure you have forgiven Stevens for that challenge but unfortunately, i get the feeling Beglin still holds a grudge to this day and it shows when he has been in the commentary box for our games.

The Penalty was definitely a wrong decision, but Real can have absolutely no complain. They weren't up to the task and Liverpool completely annihilated them. They thought Liverpool would sit back and allow them time on the ball to build their attacks.

Real Madrid are currently the most overrated team in Europe. When you think back to the team of a few years ago with the likes of Zidane, Figo, & Ronaldo who played the Mancs off the park in that epic 2-leg match... this bunch of jokers (apart from their keeper) would struggle against a pub team.
