Couldn't have asked for a better debut, really. Very good player, just somewhat short of confidence and match fitness. Confidence though, will be restored after this fine debut in a royal blue shirt and the fitness issue is a matter of a couple of weeks with Moyes and the boys. First signs are very bright, hope we do have an option to buy.

Wonder what Halewood thinks?:D

If he keeps up what I saw today he is a excellent fit for our squad. Still this isn't just about him today it was a super total team effort. It may have given us great confidence.

If he plays [Poor language removed] we can send him back no problems.

If he plays ok we can send him back cause we can't afford to buy him.

If he plays really well we can send him back and just bring Yakubu back into the team.

If he plays really well we can sell Yakubu and buy Jo.

Whatever happens we needed a striker for the rest of the season who will do a job for us, and so far Jo is that man.

Regardless of whether we keep him or not as long as he plays well and scores goals thats all that matters.

Would be nice to keep him and Yakubu but can't see that happening so we will be in the same position as before.

Looks a very good player. Like a more mobile version of Kanu as I said.b)

His link up play is very good, similar to both Yak and Saha. His first goal was excellent.

Moyes has got some options atleast, It'd be interesting to see how he goes. I think we look alot more dangerous with a natural striker up there. Someone who makes runs and gives us an outlet.

I was happy with hit, he looked abit like a target man, takes the ball down - passes - and makes the run.

Hopefully it can continue.

He looked to have a bit of pace about him as well so we could play the ball into the channels for him to chase. Great though Cahill is he doesn't really offer that. If we could maintain the form we showed in the first half then great things could happen in the remainder of the season.

Little i'd seen, liked his hold up play, and liked the fact that we "read" the same when running into the box. Looked like a player whose been playing for us for weeks.

Reminds me a bit of Saha.

He does, it gives us so many more options. Someone who can give us an outlet down the channels and in behind. He's got intelligent movement.

He looks like a complete striker, good running in behind and good with his back to goal. There's definitely more to come from Jo.

Be interesting to see whether Moyes fancies linking up Jo and Saha.

Creates all sorts of issues with midfield as well.
