I`d like him to sign on for a few more years. He stood in for Pickford a few years ago, and its handy to have someone capable of stepping in if Pickford does pick up an injury. If he`s not going to get any game time I`d like to see him get a loan deal where he could play first team football and be recalled if needed.

If it was my decision I would give him a new contract, I don't think you will find many back up keepers better than him.
Think you've described 99% of understudy keepers there.
I think this is one of those situations you just don't have to bother too much about. He's adequate enough as a back up that i'd be fine with them extending but not so good that I'd think it's an issue if they don't. Back up keepers are ten a penny really.

Hasn't worked for him away from Everton but the odd first team game he has played for us he didn't let us down. Worth keeping as he is only on about 7k per week
