Player Valuation: £35m
free to leave at the end of the season, he would probably want to go to a champions league team if he walked but do you think we'd have any chance of getting him / can we afford his wages?

He wont go & if he does it wont be to us, he'll go to a team that's challenging for titles year after year, as much as I'd love us to get him it's not going to happen

Great player with great attitude, would do great for us, but he's a London boy and i think he'l wanna stay down that way. He'l remain with Chelsea or go to Spurs

Sky Sports News mentioned him in the same sentance as Man City this morning, not that it would mean anything like.

I like Joe Cole but we probably wouldn't want to pay him the sort of money he's been used to.

He's better than Spurs & City. I wouldn't be surprised if he signed for the likes of Milan, Inter, Barca, Real Madrid etc but I think he'll stay at Chelsea

I'd love to have Joe Cole here. A very very good player.

Alas we wouldn't be able to afford his wages and even if we could, I don't know that Kenwright and Moyes would want to break our wage structure for him.

You do that, then you're raising the wages for half our squad.

Great player though.

Joe Cole is a great admirer of both EFC and DM..............he is one of the few 'bigger players' I would welcome here because he doesn't have the big head most acquire when signing on at Stamford Bridge. His wages however would be another matter(n)

everything ive heard is that he is still in contract talks with chelsea and a deal is almost done to keep him.

i hope he does stay at cheslea to be honest because i couldnt imagine him playing for another team.

Bit of a crock these days, I think he will struggle to get really big money, but on his day, the boy is superb.

I think he will stay with Chelsea myself.
