If we're in the market for freebies and loans, and he is still available in the summer, you'd expect the manager to ask the question. He's 29 though. How would we include him in a midfield with Arteta and Pienaar?

Should he leave Chelsea, I think Spurs and the RS seem like logical destinations.

No chance of getting him. I think he wants £120,000 a week, which is something that other clubs would be willing to offer him.
