Don't get me wrong I do rate Howard as a good goalkeeper, but I think Robles has the potential to be one of the very best around.

Shame that, we all knew he wasnt going to be able to replace Howard but it still would of been good if he had a good game, even if it only helps him get a move to a decent side where he might get a game. As for any problems Everton have with keepers we havent learnt anything tonight, only that Howard has no competition, which he needs.

Not much to say is there. Don't want to slate the kid as it was a good team performance tonight but wtf was he doing for the goal. Probably reasoning that if he makes a howler he will keep his place as it's currently working for Howard!!!

i'd still play him over howard NEA. who knows what he can achieve given a run of games. quite simply though, at the start of this season we should have been bringing in another keeper to compete/displace howard and send robles out on loan. he's still too young to be a backup for a team like our - unless he's something special like courtois.

that is paramount for this summer now.

True mate. It must be like coming back from an injury when you haven't played a competitive match in that long. Terrible positioning for their goal but made a decent save 2nd half. I would still give him a 5 game run tbh
