Definitely looked more settled today, it seems him finally getting a run has helped him. He had one brain-fart moment in the first half when he passed it straight to one of their lot but apart from that he looked solid. Hopefully he keeps on improving.

He's even starting to catch the ball when he should do.

Good hold late on from a shot that could have easily been spilled.

Not a standout performance but did his job well. I'm more confident with him than Howard.

He was solid today.

There were a couple of moments like. Stones was having a go at him at one point in the second half for not coming off his line and collecting the ball, instead Stones was forced to put it out for a corner. He does seem very slow off his line.

All in all though I'm happy for him to be second choice, but we definitely still need to bring in a 1st choice keeper in this window and hopefully Howard can move to the MLS and we can get a bit of money for him.

Good to see him getting positive comments and stringing a couple of performances together. Still a long way to go but he's certainly getting there. One GREAT performance from him,whether that be a save that wins us the match or earns us a point is always a big deal for keepers.

Said a few times that all players need a run of games before you can judge them. Think that's even more true in the case of goalies.

Best thing was actually having a forward thinking keeper. Looking to start a counter attack by launching it long to Lukaku a few times. Made a nice 40 yard throw to Coleman to get us going aswell.

He's our second choice for a reason but he's the best second choice we have had for as long I can remember.

His kicking was ok in the windy conditions , and his positioning coming off the line was better bar one incident - he did not have many saves to complete TBH - He did okish imo!

Still don't rate him, struggles to kick the ball FFS. City didn't really trouble him either.

Funny how people see different things, for me his kicking is miles better than Howards.

ah look at everyone else starting to turn a bit of an opinion after giving the lad a tiny bit of a chance. i'd much prefer him to start over howard, but he had jack sh*t to do today.

i'm just happy i've watched a full 90 mins where an everton keeper hasn't sliced a routine pass back out for a throw-in, it's been a while

Saves howls of derision, that's for sure. How a professional goalkeeper cant kick a rolling ball in a straight-ish line amazes me.

Give him half a season to see what he can produce, if he cant, sign butland or begovic in the summer. Howard is a write off at this point,

Still looks a bit shaky and uneasy, but that's understandable cuz he's not played a lot at all, and game time fixes that.

His kicking is waaaaaaay ahead of Howard's though.
