Dunno why anybody even compares any Keeper to Big Nev, we wont see anybody that ever comes close, he was a once in lifetime kinda player, you wont see anything like him again.

Joel will never reach the heights Neville did but he is coming into his prime now and could well mature into a very good goalkeeper.....either here or elsewhere.

2 starts 2 clean sheets, been years since the opposition manager praised one of our keepers.

If we are lucky yes, the option to play him needs to be taken out of Koemans hands, if only to help make sure we are looking at a top keeper in January.

Hopefully Steve Walsh can see what any fair minded fan can.... of the 3 keepers we have had over the last year, he is the best by far. Then he needs to learn the Dutch for "bin your crap mate"

And he is only going to get better with age and games.

Sorry mate, I know you say you're not comparing him to Nev but there is a bit of an inference thereafter.

Never in a million years is he gonna be as good as Nev, or even anywhere near, although I agree he's better than Stekelenberg.

Sky analysis with a good view from the kick it would have been the save of the season Therie Henry it started of over the wall 2-3 feet and came in like a fast leg brake impossible Henry stated he did well to get his hand to it!
If he had saved it wow!

If Baines scored that free kick everyone would be saying it was a world class strike, he did well to get a hand on it, no issues at all tonight with Joel.
