If we're happy to finish 6th, 7th 8th etc, he'll do us fine. If we really want to challenge for higher he's not the answer for me. Top keepers win you matches or save you a point. He hasnt done it for me.

See i can see your point about the higher places but the problem is we can say that about a lot of the squad, most of them dont fit into a team that wants 5th as a minimum, but for me we need to start on the spots that we are desperatly lacking is, which is most of the defense

To be honest I can't mate. Like I said I'm not big on goalkeepers. Maybe because Hart has been a top keeper for a time?
I accept he hasn't been 'top' for a couple of seasons. Is Butland a decent shout then?

Too simple minded to just blame the goalkeeper when the defense is open like a barn door throughout the game. They made it very hard for him. I agree that he was poor of course, but so was Gueye, Pennington, Williams, Jags and Holgate defensively. Baines did fairly ok I think, but that's not enough.

Not overly impressed with Lukaku, DCL, Barkley, Davies etc either.

I agree mate. Just concentrated on Robles there because its in his thread. But yes, two centre backs a must for me. Its a question of priorities I know. And yes, I'd like a new keeper but it would be about fourth on my list.

I would say because one is going to cost the kind of money that we should be using on an outfield player, just be a waste of money that, lets be honest if we can upgrade any player in the squad we should, but spending just to change the name on the shirt is a luxury we cant afford even with Moshiris money

Honestly thought his positioning could have been better on that, very similar to Mane's other goal at the Goodison match, whole team gets pulled to one side and beaten by a shot dragged to his far side.
