I don't think he's a bad keeper at all but he's not the quality that we're aiming for. In all honesty recent matches against low league opposition haven't tested him. Spurs and Liverpool games have been telling.

Didnt have a great game. Couple poor decisions but also made 2 good saves. Left totally exposed by a woeful defense. Looked at fault by not diving and rightly so but why was no attempt to block shots or tackle made by the defenders ahead of him. Is anybody blaming holgate for giving away a sloppy pass just before goal?

I can admit to the third but those slating him need to look our three central defenders they backtracked, blocked his view it was defending of the lowest standards sack our defensive coach - he also saved three too it was the same old let's give in, and forget how to play Derbys!
tell me about the first two goals Jags and williams ran into one another the second was curled into the top corner on a back tracking defenders on both occasions - they had their boots on back to front imo!

It's who he had the bad game against innit,he was giving it loads before the game and then performs like that, niether of the keepers are good enough to be quality no1s,would not surprise me if stek is back in next game.

If you genuinely think this lad is good enough then 7th place will always be as good as it gets for us.

A goalie's only as good as the 10 in front of him, I've seen Banks, Shilton, Jenning take terrible pastings, I've also seen The flying pig set records behind a tight defence and decent team.
Is Robles the answer if we had a decent team *shrugs*
The only thing that might give him a stay of execution is the bigger need in other positions

its not just him though is it look at the defence two central defenders needed, maybe two new full backs needed if coleman does not recover, looking at that defensive debacle yesterday the problem was central defence!
never mind a keeper, who has shown promise lately yes all blame him , but it was calamity defending that gave him no chance bar the third goal even then Origi had the room!
