Had several excellent games for us, offset by a few howlers. his command of crosses seemed to improve a lot last season but then he screwed that all up in the derby. Hope he does well

Yeah good luck to him but after buying Pickford he knows he wont get many starts so fair enough he is leaving.

He will have to be replaced, at Pickfords age he wont need much rest but we cant go into the season with Stek as back up, we need a number 2 at number 2 not a 3 at best

Always had a soft spot for Joel as he has always been professional, celebrated goals wildly and seemed a great lad off pitch.

Wish him well wherever he ends up.

Lol, Joel was tosh mate. Let's see who wants him. No one above our level or even comparable to us I'm sure.

Rom leaving has nothing to do with RK. No other good players have left so far.

I love Sheeds but he wasn't part of the first team set up.

Joel deserves a chance in a mid-table side somewhere as a number 1 - he was pretty decent but not good enough for where we want to go. He won't have any pressure playing for an also ran in La Liga, so I hope he finds a starting place, and peace, there.

I like the lad as a person, but he's never going to be good enough for where we want to be, so good luck to him when / if he leaves. If nothing else, it shows he's no longer content to play second fiddle, so he's showing a bit of ambition.

Wish him well for the future. Was very iffy in his early Everton career but hasn't deserved the stick he's taken over the last 18 months.

Never ever once felt secure with him in nets.

That always annoyed me, though , if memory serves me right, he clapped us home and away in his last two games. i'm pretty sure he knew he was off then so he was likely saying goodbye.

that's a pity, was hoping he'd battle it out with Pickford and get some games but I understand why he'd want to go...the lad has been on the verge of being number1 two summers running and both times a goalie brought in... Will be difficult to find a number 2 of his quality I reckon.
