The issue is, when the officials have a vendetta how can the game continue? We suffered plenty with Duncan as good as booked before kickoff, so it is only right to condemn the indefensible when other players are victimised by the so called higher order.

Barton is a tit, but how did Lampard stay on the pitch? Two QPR players threw elbows. Consistency is key.

Like I said above, we have seen our unfair share of player victimisation. Ferguson got it every week. Just because it is someone else nowadays doesn't make it suddenly alright.

When he concentrates on football he's class one of the reason why I think NUFC will finish around 12-14th this year. I kind the like the guy and he can be extremely funny when he isn't sticking cigars into peoples eye sockets. Both Barton and Bellamy seem to be growing up a bit and would be both be excellent additions to the side if you could somehow be assured that any incident is in the past. Problem is you never know when the next thing will set either off.

I think he has matured now.
