Just reading back in this thread and it seems as he was very highly rated by Alan Ball which makes it even more odd that he's dropped down so far.

I would say it's more the point of finding a level where the manager will be willing to let a u-20 central defender step in and play from day one. Really, what team is desperate enough to loan in a 18-19 year old who has no first team experience and help carry their defence?
This will be a show of where he can go, play well and he can move up a lvl or two as more managers will have an eye on him.

i think in a relagation dog fight is the blue sq is a great place to start ya loan, if he finds it easy then next season maybe find a higher league.
