coleman, barkley , stones will all be linked with a move, your probably talking around 80 million quid, if martinez had that to spend would you fancy him to spend it well. or would the money dissapear into our boards pockets. lets hope some more youngsters can come through next year , garbutt, green, browning, ledson etc
Sounds like you've got evidence of the board pocketing money that belongs to Everton. Have you though of going to the Police with this evidence?
The 19-year-old is the subject of a new deal from Everton but must first resolve agent
Everton want to give super-kid John Stones a major new deal to keep him from being tempted by Arsenal, Chelsea or Manchester United writes Alan Nixon in the Sunday People.
Centre-half Stones has been one of the success stories of the season since Roberto Martinez threw in the kid from Barnsley.
Now the Goodison club want to reward him with a big deal – but it is proving difficult because he is in a dispute between agents.
The 19-year-old Stones was taken to Everton by Yorkshire-based Star Management Signings, but now major firm WMG have stepped in for him.
Agent Paul Martin – one of the leading wheeler-dealers with WMG – is expected to be Stones’ new advisor when his old representation deal runs out. But as Stones is under contract to his present agent for a few months, a worrying delay is emerging.
Both agents will want a slice of a potentially huge new contract, so the dispute is clouding negotiations and signing for longer and more cash.
Everton will resist all offers for Stones in the summer, but the friction behind the scenes leaves them vulnerable.
Chelsea like Stones while Arsenal and United would wave their cheque books if there is a hint of trouble.
Meanwhile, boss Martinez will wait until he knows his European fate before deciding where two of his kids play next term.
Centre-half Shane Duffy and promising left-back Luke Garbutt will be allowed out on loan if Martinez does not need them.
But if the Toffees chief is planning for the Europa League, the pair will have to wait and play their part in the campaign.
