Hello there, the angel from my nightmare
The shadow in the background of the morgue
The unsuspecting victim of darkness in the valley
We can live like Jack and Sally if we want
Where you can always find me
We'll have Halloween on Christmas
And in the night we'll wish this never ends
We'll wish this never ends

I miss you.

Wish I could add a tone of voice to what I said because it was not a go but just an observation of our players taking a while to get up to speed. I for one cannot wait for him to get back.

Years ago he'd have been given a few run outs in the reserves to build his fitness and get shut of some of the rust before getting back in the first team. Sadly this doesn't happen so much now.

I know its a shame, it just seems that we have had too many injuries recently and too many players at the same time are not at full potential. Think its showing in our play and results.

Spot on. Mainly because of the sheer number of injuries we've had, coupled with a Europa League campaign, players have both been brought back earlier than ideal and played more matches than is really good for them.

Baines, Coleman, Barry and, to some extent Mirallas too, all fall under that banner, more so because they're seen as key members of the starting eleven

Hopefully we can bring back Stones more gradually and use him more sparingly in rotation with Jags, Distin and Alcaraz.

I didn't think you were having a go but he's just a sprout and I believe this is his first major injury so who knows what will happen...he may come back even stronger, you never know. As with Rom and Ross, it's best just to maintain a level head and try to enjoy watching them learn and grow. It's a results-driven career but at some point you have to find some enjoyment in their process if you can.
