Lads he was none of this today. He had a good hard game and came out of it well. Lets be realistic with him and leave the OTT praise to those blerts across the park.
We often build players up to quickly.
Make no mistake this lad is going all the way to the top, but during his trek to the top he will make mistakes, some will cost us.
I think the same goes for Garbutt, just let's be careful we don't over hype them to early

Massive game yesterday perhaps our brightest on the pitch. Kept Bobby Zamora frustrated and the service to Austin lacking. No mental mistakes that I noted that has him and Barkley in the doghouse on numerous occasions this year and have cost us dearly. The future is right in front of us and it is looking better each game. Of course I have noticed no back pass pressure with our change of tactics which is taking the pressure off our defense. It may look ugly but we are getting points by it. At this time I don't mind ugly wins. Confidence is what we need both on the pitch and in the dressing room.

....good to have him back, we looked much more solid when he last returned from injury. There was a moment yesterday when he was having a right old natter with Jagielka, good to see that they are communicating.

I have a concern that we are set up poorly as a defensive unit. QPR aren't blessed with pace up front, yet we dropped deep and let them throw crosses into our 6 yard box. Still, it's good to have young Stones back, I'm one of those that think he's a real talent.
