Like most people he probably wants the most money for his shares which takes time. If he exhausts that process, and he is not happy with the financial offer for his shares he faces the decision as to whether he thinks he has to take a ‘haircut’, in order to buy us.
If he gets a best offer of x, he may be seeking a renegotiation of the terms he can buy us at. Who knows?
