Yes. Yes it does. You are unsure if "poor sales" means Everton gets less money? I'd argue the price increases, complaints and flaws would also contribute to less money.

Maybe you want to disagree with the underlying facts (say the quality isn't bad and there aren't lots of complaints) ... but questioning if poor sales means less money might not be the way to attack the argument. And yes, even if income is guaranteed for years, the overall impact of the poor quality and sales etc would impact the next deal. We already went through this for years with Kitbag FFS.
