Where have all the 'faux hard-man' shouts come from? I remember a few bits of snide, but don't specifically recall him offering to knock everyone out in a Morrison's car park.

Neither was Howard Kendall or Neville Southall. What's your point exactly?
Simple point. People from anywhere can support Everton with maximum passion. Absolutely no problem there. But people who live in Liverpool are the ones who have to live and work with the kopites, so naturally have more of a negativity towards them rather than people who don't.

The whole point of people not being fussed ex players being employed by Liverpool are mostly people who aren't fussed by Liverpool in general. QED.

We have them outside Liverpool as well. They've infested plenty of locations.

Ay?

That was literally always a thing, I remember everyone saying he took the Gravesen mantle as a cheerleader.

He is a tiny, insignificant little dot.

Hugely underwhelming signing I thought.

Came with a big reputation, but dragged his feels signing, because he wouldn't leave Atletico for us, unless we matched his wages.

Had a good 6-8 months and the rest very average.

Hold no ill will towards him; if I'm honest. Go have a career, owes us nothing. Just don't celebrate like you've won the World Cup if Liverpool sc9re against us.

I never thought of Gravesen as a 'hard man' either.

It's a long time ago like, so I could be mistaken, I just don't recall him doing anything that screamed 'I'm solid me la.'

Looking back he was alright for us, nothing stands out as being overly bad. Him coaching at Liverpool is a nothing story though. Just because he played for us does not mean he was connected to us.

It is not like Cahill, Osman, Coleman, etc., now that would be shocking and something of note.

The only bit of faux hard man that I remember is when he accidently on purpose barged into Ashley Cole during a penalty shoot out. Everybody was saying would he have done it with Terry, etc.

My only other clear memory of him was on a last home game walk around the pitch, the Glwadys end was singing his name as he walked past, I was stood there thinking 'Wait there, Cahill is literally stood right next to him and you are all singing his name'. Felt strange to me but I suppose he did give off an aura of being a 'fan' of the club but I never got it to be honest.
