I've never had a positive experience with the club. Now that I live in the USA I bought my newborn a supporters subscription a few years ago (more as a token than him being able to watch or do anything with it). The welcome pack for him never arrived, mine did but was just an Everton sticker. Emailed the club, nothing. Also at the time bought some merch that, again, despite multiple outreach, took 4 months to arrive and was too small for him by the time it did.
More recently contacted the club in March to get a ticket for my son's first game since we would be in the UK at the time for the first game of the season (due to a family illness only, not pleasure), and leaving shortly after. Continued outreach all the way through the fixture releases in June and beyond. Lots of back and forth trying to get anyone who could help with details, if it was even possible etc. Was basically told wait until general release since we weren't a season ticket holder (wtf). Ended up getting a ticket through a friend of a friend in a US based supporters club instead.
Don't even get me started on the disinterested staff at Everton Two.
I keep hearing we do boss work in the community, but in terms of any level of professionalism and polish outside of what is considered charity work, I've never been impressed.
