I reckon Brands can save the money on a new right-back - because Seamus is a shadow of his fomer self- and use it elsewhere
in the team. Kenny hit some lovely balls down the channels. Sure he still needs to polish many aspects of his game but he has potential.

Kenny reminds me of Tony Hibbert all be it slightly better on the ball. He would probably have been more suited at CB as that is where he played a lot of youth games but unfortunately he didn't grow tall enough, Hibbert played a few games there but was also too small. Like Hibbert he was also played in midfield as a youngster but probably both too limited in their passing for that position. Hibbert was also able to adapt to left back when asked. I would like to see him given RB role until end of the season see if he can nail it down and if Holgate does well at WBA we can bring him back as Kenny competition and also 4th choice centre back. Having 2 of them at a similar level may be the spark to push one or both of them on.

Played well yesterday in my opinion. Not sure how good he will become in the long run yet but to his credit he was the only one trying to rally the troops yesterday after the second goal. I know it does not compensate if brilliant ability is lacking but it was a small positive to see at least one player respond to a bit of adversity by saying come on we can do this. Pretty poor show it was one of the youngest on the pitch.
