I find it a bit weird myself, but maybe this is the one position that Brands is willing to sacrifice his ideology a bit. Just look at how massive Digne was for Silva’s system. Brands might think we are close enough to take the risk

It's a fair point, but Digne isn't old and is probably worth MORE now. Meunier doesn't quite fit that profile.

Yes they do, proper name is Arena Auf Schalke, but known by the sponsor name Veltins Arena, it has a retractable roof, and holds over 60,000 for league matches. It is the 4th biggest Bundesliga stadium. It held a ice hockey game a few years ago too with over 70,000 in attendance.

It's very impressive, and the player tunnel is made to look like a mine-shaft, in honor of the mining history of Gelsenkirchen and North Rhine-Westphalia which is very important to the region.
