He already said that the Schalke move was to help with his development Dave. He'll be back.

I find that most of our fans have that issue with most of our players....Yeah I think people have an image of him that doesnt match reality.
Because when we sent him on loan we were aiming for top 6???We arnt in the top six this season so why send him on loan and keep two older players at right back?...........
You’ll be able to watch Barrow in div 2 next season too ( all being well )
Friend of mine goes to watch Barrow nearly every week, home and away. From London!Haha one can dream.

He's even inherited the Coleman Gurn by the look of things. We just need to ensure his crossing is absolutely pathetic and then we might have some player on our hands.Madness how a loan to Germany and he’s all of a sudden Phillip Lahm.
He was terribly average whenever he played for us, I know we are poor at RB but bringing him back won’t solve that.

yeh its not as if he was in his early 20's with a significant chance of improvement with more games. jib him off cos he wasn't phillip lahm

If as you say Kenny bang average then i'd be happy to go with Sidibe ( the option being £12 mil...bargain) and Coleman back up.And do what? Coleman is getting to squad player status. Sidibe can be very good attacking but really struggles with actually being a defender, his positional awareness and discipline is terrible. Plus he's only on loan.
If Kenny's "bang average," I'm OK with that for next year if necessary. He's not who I would choose as the ideal RB of the future (yet), but is at least on an upward trajectory unlike Coleman. if he can be decent and provide stability at the position it's one more position where we don't have to spend massively to upgrade yet. We have more pressing needs and we can't upgrade every single position at once.
Add to the fact kenny has been thrown in the team more in times of crisis than when we have been on a good run. He could be a player for us in a confident team playing good football.Holgate is the player we should be looking at. Last season he dropped to 5th choice CB and 3rd choice RB so was sent out on loan as he wasn't likely to getting any first team games and the u23s would have been a backwards step. This season if we had managed to get Zouma or any of the other targets he would have been 4th choice or maybe even sold. However he bided his time and when he finally got a chance he took it. So even if Kenny starts next season as the 2nd choice if he is patient he will get a chance. I believe Holgate benefited from getting a decent run of games at West Brom, much in the same way that Kenny is now getting a decent run at Schalke.
What is this you speak ofAdd to the fact kenny has been thrown in the team more in times of crisis than when we have been on a good run. He could be a player for us in a confident team playing good football.
