Well if Jonjo goes I think we will be asking quite a bit more, and getting, than £12M, but I hope he stays, rather have a 22 year old Jonjo than the few years older Sibide. You can only rate what you see and I don’t really remember him showing a lot in a blue shirt apart from better crossing ability than Coleman. I don’t think anyone has ever put him ahead of Holgate and DCL in ability either.
I’d love to be wrong but I think we’ll sign Sidibe as a stopgap and cash in from Schalke covering the Sidibe signing.

I'd be inclined to get a good fee and look to strengthen at full back.
I would be paying the 12m for Sidney, getting the same back for Kenny and sticking in a Barca style buyback.
Summer 2021 we then buy a new RB or buy Kenny back.
Sidibe a weird one.
He does some great things. His aggression and tackling are great. But he does some utterly abysmal things too. When hes bad, he can be very bad.
No need to call him a tool mate, out of order. The fella is a bit hit and miss granted, but hes a great attacking tool for us.
