I hope he's fit and plays this week.

I think he's a pretty good player, the times I've watched him, I did see him sometimes out of position but his forward movement is really good. I think Ancelotti would be good for him, because he was a bit raw previously, and he would be able to polish Kenny's game.

I'm just a bit concerned for Jonjoe because he's been at the club for six years, and he's 23 and this is his time now. He's been at the club longer than DCL but DCL took a long time to get going because it didn't click until now. I think Kenny is a bit similar, he needs a shot and this year should be where we transition between Coleman and Kenny and give Kenny at least 10 matches in the prem.

He is suppose to be fit, but almost sounded like they would play Godfrey there more then Kenny-if that end's up true

Yeah Godfrey would be a safe option, he was very good last week. If Jonjoe has a future at the club, they should just play him there when there's an opportunity. He might need some time to get up to speed of the prem.

Am I the only one who’d rather see Godfrey at right back again....

Godfrey is fine, he might even do a better job right now at RB. But if Godfrey is a CB, then its a bit of a waste to play him there. Just my two cents though.

The club needed to get a RB in, surely the fact they didn't, Carlo was comfortable with Jonjoe Kenny.

i'm sure you're not the only one but I'd much rather have Kenny.

we need to have an outlet on the right, given we dominate the ball so much more these days.

Having Godrey is fine but I'd still temper with he's very inexperienced, certainly as a RB.
Yes I trust Jonjo completely and he will do a good job at right back. Regarding Ben, he might be inexperienced at right back, did very well there last week, in my opinion. What Godfrey is, is a proper footballer, knows the game, and is versatile, if Kenny plays on Sunday, I would put Ben in midfield instead of either Gomes or Sigurdsson allowing Doucouré more freedom to get about the pitch, doubt it will happen, but Ben has been bought for the here and now, not for his potential, he will prove to be an excellent signing and will be a regular player, especially in his own centre back position.

Thought Godfrey looked a great prospect. It has been pointed out that he was caught out of position when Mane got in for the RS third(offside) goal. Not having ago because he is very inexperienced atRB but think Kenny might be a better proposition as RB this weekend with Godfrey on the bench to cover the backline positions. But like I said seems a very exciting prospect

For this particular game I'd probably go for Godfrey.

I want us to be defensively solid, have good height and powers of recovery at the back so whoever players on the right further forward has a bit of a free reign.
