We all know that happens with the likes of Bolasie, Tosun etc yes. They were poor signings, nobody is going to argue with that. But that has nothing to do with the price we get for Kenny. As a player he has a value to Everton of literally zero. Ancelotti is not going to pick him, he's at best 3rd choice right back, possibly as low as 5th choice. He's an academy graduate so has no book value. So his value as an asset is totally dependent on what somebody is willing to pay for him. If he's 'worth' £15m then somebody will offer us £15m for him. Word is that Burnley are going to get him for £7m, so as soon Real Madrid hear that they're going to say no way we can let such a terrific athlete go at that price, here's £8m, and so on. If the most anyone is willing to bid is £7m, and we're willing to accept £7m then he's worth... £7m.We seem to sell at a loss - sign players on long contracts on high wages that's what Carlos has inherited sadly all since we appointed a DOF ...
Its his scouse jaw, draws people in.We can keep spouting it but people who like him won’t listen mate
So your saying that if we go to Burnley and say "Liverpool got 20m for Jordan Ibe, we want 20m", your saying that WONT work?We all know that happens with the likes of Bolasie, Tosun etc yes. He's not our 3rd choice rightback - he has hardly played......Coleman has ... If Coleman was going for 7 million another poster he thinks that's ok ..your analysis has been done on not seeing a player given a fun in the team the same fate of other players we have sold cheaply .......We all know that happens with the likes of Bolasie, Tosun etc yes. Joey you used Robinson as an example earlier on.He's not our 3rd choice rightback - he has hardly played......Coleman has ... If Coleman was going for 7 million he thinks that's ok ..your analysis has been done on not seeing a player given a fun in the team the same fate of other players we have sold cheaply .......
Yes Joey. Has it occurred to you that the reason he hasn't played is, in fact, because he's our third choice right back? He's not our 3rd choice rightback - he has hardly played......Coleman has ... If Coleman was going for 7 million he thinks that's ok ..your analysis has been done on not seeing a player given a fun in the team the same fate of other players we have sold cheaply .......
You the manager now, he has been coming back from injury .....just sell the players unproven in the prem ......Yes Joey. Has it occurred to you that the reason he hasn't played is, in fact, because he's our third choice right back?
Agreed. You the manager now, he has been coming back from injury .....just sell the players unproven in the prem ......
You're an absolute loon. If he's actually our first choice right back and Ancelotti is just using a cunning ruse to make it look like he'd rather play with 7 men and bring Tony Hibbert out of retirement before picking Kenny then you have nothing to worry about, we certainly won't be selling him for £7m. If he is our (at best) third choice right back and we are happy to sell him for £7m then you are obviously wrong. I'm not sure why you're trying to simultaneously argue two contrary points of view. You the manager now, he has been coming back from injury .....just sell the players unproven in the prem ......
List how many games he's had this season then? We’re not going to get much more than 7 mil for a right back who is behind Coleman and an out of position Holgate for a club not in Europe. I don’t see an issue selling for 7-10 mil, helps us helps his career and helps Burnley. Thought he was going to be sound for us when he was first choice for England u21, but he’s 24 in 2 months and can’t get a game ahead of Coleman whose more or less finished
I don't think we need 2.In my opinion we need 2 new right backs. 1 in 1 out this window. Then 1 in 1 out in the summer. Either way he needs to be gone. I had hopes that he might have at least been good enough to be back up but he can't even get a game ahead of an over the hill Coleman and out of position Holgate.
