He is a real leader as well, and captained our under 21's at the age of 17. It looks like he's jumped ahead of Connolly in the cue (which is no bad thing) as I thought Connolly probably needed a bit more work.
What always concerned people re Kenny was his lack of size. He was always a fantastic centre back, aggressive with a good spring on him but lacked a little size. It looks like he has grown up a bit.
There has been a lot of talk of getting a right back to put pressure on Coleman. I really hope we don't. I think this lad can step up and put pressure on. I also think with Pennington and Browning we are well covered in that area with 3 lads who will put defending first if Coleman doesn't rediscover his form.
