Gave the ball away once on the edge of the box in the first half - made me fume. Other than that he was sensational!

Countless last ditch clearances and a few goal saving blocks, positioning was spot on with little support infont of him.

MOTM by far. Reminds me of Gary Neville, not a bad comparison.

MOTM played a blinder today, made a tackle on a kopshoite player bombing forward in the first half not far from me, he jumped up in delight as it was sensational and he knew it, we knew it and the shoite hated it. Bloody perfect son, perfect;););)

Was that when he celebrated like he’d scored then rubbed his hands like he relishing the whole thing?

Yeah ... loved that, he must have been so pumped for that game and he controlled it so well. Would be so easy for a young scouse player playing in the first derby to throw himself in and pick up bookings or even a red. He was the only player that I actually thought handled the fixture (apart from Rooney)

Had a fantastic game yesterday and was by far away the best player in a blue shirt. Seamus is going to.have to win his place back.

He gets better every game and played really well today. The back stick header when Solanke was bearing in was fantastic. He made a number of very good back stick interceptions.

The shouts of moving him to left back could work too. It's a lovely situation to be in re Seamus, where we can ease him back in, as opposed to having to rush him back.

Coleman on the left for me mate, more experienced and more confident so should in theory be able to handle the switch better.

Not just about age and experience though either, Kenny is a brilliant crosser of a ball, Coleman is very average in that part of his game, and you will lose that ability playing 'wrong' side, so play who won't lose a big strength there, throw in the fact that whoever plays 'wrong side' would by nature be cutting in on their right peg more and you have the chance of getting Coleman arriving in the box on his right foot more often which he's shown how lethal he is on it.

Plays the game with the same heart as a fan would, just with a lot more skill.

Always been excellent as an attacking full back but his defending is really improving as well.

He has that same thing that Coleman has, hard to measure but it's called spirit.

Can see why this lad has captained the Everton youth side and at England junior levels, natural leader on the pitch, looking forward to Coleman coming back even more now, as the chance for those two to work together every day in training will push both on another level i think.
