50 witnesses

of which

10 police officers
10 solicitors
10 doctors/nurses
10 civil servants
10 members of the public

all witness a cold blooded murder,

Addition, multiple cctv video evidence

plus, DNA evidence at the scene and on the dead body and on the murder weapon

plus a full confession including motive and preparation.

'100%' enough for you?

(im reminded of...."Edmund (blackadder): I remember Mattingburg's most famous case, the case of the bloody knife.
A man was found next to a murdured body, he had the knife in his hand,
thirteen witnesses that seen him stab the victim, when the police
arrived he said, "I'm glad I killed the [Poor language removed]." Mattingburg not
only got him off, but he got him knighted in the New Year's Honors
list, and the relatives of the victim had to pay to have the blood
washed out of his jacket.)

Ok fair enough, if that scenario ever happens ill fully admit thats its a 100% shut case.

Actually no i wouldnt. I'd call it 99.99999999999999999999999999% certain.(and i would add more 9s but i dont wanna stretch the page)

Take into consideration corrupt police officers, lawyers and soliciters. Mistaken identity and people with grudges, planted and tampered evidence, set ups and forced confessions and then tell me there is NO doubt at all. None. Not even the slightest tiniest little bit.

But what if there were only 9 civil servants? Would it weaken it? How about you keep going and end up with just 1 witness? Would there be doubt then?
When do you go from 99% to 100%

We're talking in entirely hypothetical situations now though, if you could find me a case that has actually happened that you know for 100% sure that is 100% proven to be correct then ill admit that its possible.

But you cant and never will do, so i will always have at least that 1 little tiny bit of doubt in even the most seemingly watertight cases. Ive just cast doubt on your hypothetical case above by questioning it.

And funnily enough i actually watched that episode of Blackadder the other day.

and the cctv video evidence? there have been cases where murder and rape have been caught on surveilance camera - good enough? or are the lizard kings that reside on the moon tampering with the magnetic fields of the earth thereby altering captured images so as to fit up 'those that know the truth'.

looking for some tenth dimension conspiracy at every turn means what... that no one ever gets properly convicted and criminality continues to grow.

and by the way, currently the courts rule on probability.

Wow. I'm arguing the difference between 99.9% and 100% and you think i'm David [Poor language removed] Icke or soemthing. Unbe-[Poor language removed]-lievable. Well that and some conspiracy nut apparently.

Yeah courts rule on "beyond reasonable doubt" , which i'm sure is what you meant.
They dont rule on absolute definite no doubt. Probably because they know there is no such thing as 100% certain.

Which kinda proves my point dont ya think?
