Top keeper and 1 of our best players. He will always get criticised by people for a stray pass because he has great ability picking 1 as well as his lively characteristics but it’s a shame our own fans criticise him so much. This forum is so anti Everton players espically Jordan and gilffy (both had brilliant seasons last season) it’s awful.

I've been saying for a long time that for me Jordan isn't tall enough. It's a personal choice. I consider him to be a decent shot stopper but he dosnt command his box( maybe they are working on that now cos against Newcastle he actually came out and won a couple of balls in the air). It was a good curler by the RS player but Pickford did get his fingers to it. I'm saying a couple of inches bigger he may have turned it over the bar. As I say personal choice. Me get a bigger keeper who fills the goal.

Big Nev would fill the goal. But not particularly agile these days. So be careful what you wish for.

The excuses for him are getting a bit laughable.

Hes not an everton player. We dont do cringeworthy immature banter. I dont like seeing him out during the season nevermind necking pints. The best players dont do it.

And above all hes a bang average goalkeeper. Doesn't make enough saves. Makes too many errors. Doesn't command his area. Doesn't keep clean sheets. Doesn't play with much common sense. For a lad renowned for ability with his feet, he doesn't half stick us under pressure all the time.

We need maturity in goal. We need far better.
