I did. Still doesn’t hide the fact we need a new goalkeeper because the one we have is subpar.
Would never have thought this considering how bad we have been at the back. Are we maybe over critical of the likes of Pickford, Keane, Mina and Coleman?

some people never give up moaning do they about pickford,only 1 keeper had more clean sheets the whole 2019-thats the whole year,and again hes one of the highest this year yet people still want to think they are world class goal keepeing experts who think he stands in the wrong position,does not jump high enough,is the wrong angle,makes mistakes,whatever you can think of lol hes here for a while like it or not the people that hate him,he will make the odd mistake but way less than you lot make out,its gone from some of you comming on here after hes made what you call a mistake to comming on here moaning just about anything he does-he makes a save its a routine/normal/camera save, a goal is conceeded v us and yous are looking for just about anything-he defo can not win with some of you,its pretty boring really and no end in sight which yous would do on another keeper if we had one,if you want to moan about him wait for a proper real genuine error not an error that you make out is one every min

I understand where your coming from mate. Your opinion and I respect that. I believe he can improve and been more consistent, if he shows that then he will be fine if not we look for replacement. You are right we do give up the fewest shots on goal, but than can be Someone shooting from the halfway line. However under silva we was near top for big opportunities conceded to the opposition. Meaning we do well to stop long shots outside the box, but if they break are press then have pretty much a 1 on 1 with the keeper. Now not saying Pickford is the keeper to take us to next level. However stats are miss leading at times and not true reflection on a player. In this league strikers should always be favourites for 1 on 1 with a keeper. I do agree with you tho he has areas of his game he has to improve.

I’m not a massive fan of Pickford but I do think he’s a bit better than people make out, even if he has got a howler in him (I think most keepers have).
Mina has looked good at times and absolutely awful at others, good enough for us as a rotation but I’d hope we would get someone stronger in before the start of next season.
Keane and Coleman are terrible, yet they’ll have contributed to them clean sheets so maybe they’re not as bad as we think.

I understand some people don't like Pickford but Pope has been significantly worse for most of the season.

I hope Ancelotti isn't looking for a new keeper. I do have some reservations about Pickford, but what I'd really like to see is Carlo working with him to improve him. He has some impressive parts of his game and some not so good, if he could cut out the positioning errors and improve on the mental side of the game he could be a top keeper, because as others have said he has good, sometimes exceptional shot stopping skills.
Obviously if that doesn't work out then Brands needs to have some options available, maybe a good prospect or an older pro who can provide better competition than Lossi or Stek.
