Pickford is at best bang average, at worst a calamity.

His positioning for long range shots is appalling; he cant command his area, and his distribution is getting worse by the week.

There are very few parts of his game that recommend him as a GK for this club.

What are his strengths in your opinion?

Im not saying he's top quality mate - I just dont think there are many top GK's out there in general these days and the rare few are at CL/elite clubs.

Like Rom and Gana who some couldnt wait to leave there is always the possibility who we replace them with is no better or turns out worse.

There are far more players that we need booting out the door before Pickford imo.

At the VERY least there should be quality competition for this feller. If he kows all he has to do is turn up to be picked the performances are going to continue to be wayward. That should be a minimum at all football clubs: to have to fight for your starting position.

100% mate we have to get in a half decent back up to push him. I feel thats why he's better for England as he knows his place isnt guaranteed whereas at us he's up against a dutch dinosaur & german ghost.

Has to be a proper signing in the summer for decent money.

Its all Pickford's fault. Apart from that he is one of the current hate targets, particularly from those who don't go to the matches. Not a bad keeper at all, which I guess is obvious if you get to play for England. We have certainly had better down the years at Everton, and no one would say he is as good as say the RS keeper Allison. Far from being close to the exit door unlike some of his fellow squad members.

It could be £85m for the current England keeper. Hmmm, I might take that and go for a 7ft keeper from the Championship.

Probably not any time soon, cos they all probably have better or Keepers of the same quality.

I get that some people cant let go of that Origi goal, but hes a very good Keeper.

Hes made vastly more game-saving saves than game-losing mistakes.

An eye-catching Euros and he will be on many radars.
