So again. We shouldnt expect him to save anything difficult now and then to keep us in games? Im not blaming him for today. And im cutting him some slack ignoring the errors. But if hes never going to keep us in games unless its all nice and easy for him then whats the point.
This is man city and joe hart. Their new manager saw their Englands first choice keeper wasnt good enough and replaced. We need to do the same.

Getting to the stage now were he’s having a howler per game.

Pray he has a good euros and gets “snapped up”.

Don’t think he could have saved any of their goals. All pretty unsaveable.

That said, he did make another big error, Arsenal just didn’t punish it. He can’t continue to make these sort of mistakes so consistently and us not expect us to be punished.

Yep from his schoolboy error in the first place. Bentekes first goal in 43 years.
Nobody fears him. Opposition strikers or fans. The opposite is the reality. They all think he's a mistake waiting to happen. They're not far wrong.
We need a new keeper. Not even an argument.

The only saves he makes is one of his star jumps where the ball just cannons off him .

As said foster,pope,Henderson, man utd,liverpool keeper etc make mistakes, think some of our fans dont take notice about other keepers errors etc, as they dont watch all the game or tv does not show most of the highlights, and think no oppo keeper make's them lol

When he first joined his shot stopping looked to be his strength. That and his kicking. Both seem to have declined since. My guess is he'll be given another year but if he doesn't improve he'll be shifted on.

They are far more of a presence in goal than pickford. They dont dive for the cameras. And they dont start fist pumping the air after they've made saves. They realise thats their job and get on with it.
Id take all of them over pickford.
We need better if we want to kick on.

A top keeper would have saved the third goal. His positioning was too far to the back post and that gave him no chance. The header was not in the corner.
