An apt username... lolAt least it adds a bit of interest at one end of the pitch, because there's nothing worth watching in the middle or at the other end.

Agree with all this.Pickfords performances have dropped off since he first joined.
He was always a bit of a nutter but he had good distribution.
Now he seems much more error prone and increasingly lacks concentration.
Also, we seem to have invented a new suicidal goal kick regime Involving three defenders in our 18 yard area, several opposition attackers and a singleminded desire to pass it around. It’s got my heart in my mouth and I’m sure it doesnt help a jittery goalkeeper.
I can never understand why we defend free kicks by lining up between the penalty spot and the edge of the area. It invariably means having to move backwards and twist your body, leaving all the defenders facing their own goal and the opposition forwards having the forward physical momentum. The two opening goals in our last two games showed the problems.
We’ve not had many changes at gk coach I think he’s only had 3 different ones since he’s been here, and even then I doubt it’ll make much difference. He’s just a massively overrated keeper, always has beenAgree with all this.
He was exceptional at Sunderland in both his reflexes and decision making. I suspect the latter has been ruined by the number of different goalie coaches he has endured since coming to Goodison, plus those in the England set up. I make it something like 7 or 8. And doubtless they would have all had their own views on what a keeper should be doing when it comes to crosses, positioning, distribution etc. We should be getting a long term keeper coach in, someone who likes the keeper to come for crosses and dominate the box. While at it he could get rid of Pickford's two failures in technique -- always using stiff wrists to block shots, and going for low shots with just his hands without having the rest of his body behind them.
Three in 3 seasons is two too many, particularly for a young keeper. If Southall wasn't such an oddball I'd suggest he be given the role. We’ve not had many changes at gk coach I think he’s only had 3 different ones since he’s been here, and even then I doubt it’ll make much difference. Where did we get the 30 million valuation from ?He wasn't good before we bought him, and he certainly hasn't gotten any better.
He's alright at saving a penalty though tbf.

He was in goal for Sunderland when they got relegated attracting a lot of attention with his star jumps. Previous to that the mackams loaned him out six times but unfortunately for them he kept coming back.
Sunderland are not noted for there shrewdness in the transfer market and the old chaf we have sent up there bears witness to that but they certainly got there own back when fat head and Walsh turned up with a cheque book.
Pickford would have been chinned by Pearson a long time ago.No, Pearson's sacking has stopped Picky's expected move to Watford. You are stuck with Pickford.
Straight swop for Kepa?If Chelsea come in with a decent bid we will have broken all the Everton bad luck with that deal.
Straight swop for Kepa?
Kepa is absolute balls, I’m surprised he survived after refusing to be subbed in the LC final last year. We should be looking at someone like Heaton (if not too crocked) to fill a void until we can find a long term solution. People have been mentioning Ramsdale, with his young age would he be another Pickford?Straight swop for Kepa?
